How Can tingling And Numbness In The Fingers Be Treated?

My hands tend to be cold most of the time and the first two finger tips get tingly and numb. Was recently diagnosed w/ general anxiety disorder and am on Zoloft which I have found to be of immense help. Is the condition w/ my hands a result from my anxiety?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

The excess stress and anxiety induce panic attack can lead tingling and numbness...

And your tingling improves with anti anxiety medication..

So yes it seems that anxiety is the cause for tingling

Continue prescribed anti-anxiety medications and if needed behavioural therapy can be given...

If tingling comes again and not improving then b12 deficiency, diabetes, liver and kidney problems etc ruled put by history and accordingly investigation

Hope I have solved your query

Take care
